Infomation Concerning The Procedures Of Online & Live Auctions

  1. If this is your first time as a bidder, click the bidder registration button on the page.
  2. Enter your information into the fields on this screen. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. After entering your personal information, read the terms and conditions, accept them by checking the two boxes, and fill out the captcha before pressing submit.
  3. Press the “click here to attend this auction” button.
  4. Click the link for the auction you would like to attend and enter your username and password. This information will have been sent to the email address you provided at registration.
  5. This will take you to the bidding User Interface. The area to the right of the picture will display information about the current lot, as well as messages from the auctioneer.
    • Clicking the exit auction button will close the bidding window.
    • Clicking terms of use will display a copy of the terms and conditions.
    • Clicking purchases will display a webpage that shows your credit limit, the sale, and any purchases you have made.
    • Clicking help will display a FAQ that includes helpful information about the Online Ringman bidding interface.
    • The bid area is on the left, under the picture. Pressing the bid button will send out a bid. You can enter a maximum bid and then press “max bid” in order to automatically bid up until your maximum.
    • To the right of the bidding area is the run preview, which shows information about upcoming lots. You can scroll, enter max bids preemptively, as well as check condition reports here.
    • At the very top of the lane, are the lane lights. These lights are a quick way to check the condition of a car. Their meanings are defined by the auction house.
